A unique event was conceived in 2020 as a replacement for the cancelled National RBA Championships. After nearly 11 months of border closures, lockdowns and social distancing where competitions were few and far between, we felt that it was important to “get back on the horse”

The match was designed to bring shooters from the two major Associations (Target Rifle Australia – TRA and Sporting Shooters Australia – SSAA) together to compete shoulder to shoulder and enjoy each other’s company.

The concept came from the American Triple Crown held annually at Kettlefoot, VA where targets from 3 different disciplines are used to complete the course of fire.

The 2020 match used the SSAA – IRB target, the TRA – electronic target and the WRABF – RBA target over two days and a night shoot under lights.

A number of sponsors chipped in to the tune on just over $8000 is prizes. Whilst the winners were rewarded for their efforts, every competitor went away with a prize in value in excess of their nomination fee.

Thanks to our 3 major sponsors, ELEY, Simmons Logistics and BRT. We appreciate your support.
